Farooq Fouad joined Prosperity Catalyst as Iraq Business Consultant in May 2015. Farooq has worked with many international and national NGOs in Iraq including International Relief and Development (IRD)/Iraqi Community Action Program (ICAP), Chemonic International/Governance Strengthening Program and Decentralization (Taqadum program), United States Institute of Peace (USIP) in different programs (conflict resolution and mitigation, interfaith dialog, peace tech camp, SENSE), IYOED International in media marketing program, UNHCR (IDPs program) and many local NGOs in all Iraqi provinces. He has been working with international NGOs in Iraq since June 2003 in different fields related to basic and advance capacity buildings, business development, assistant to civilian victims, community development, conflict mitigation and IDPs programs. He is eager to bring economic opportunity to Iraqi war widows and promote peace and prosperity in his lovely country. In his free time, Farooq enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
