Joy White is CEO of JRW Strategic Communications, LLC, a firm that provides consulting and advisory firm services to small organizations involved in global development. A former foreign service officer, Joy is a 13-year veteran of DAI, a leading partner of the US Agency for International Development and the UK Department for International Development. While at DAI, Joy held a succession of leadership roles in program management, budgeting and financial management, recruitment and human resources, corporate strategy and performance measurement, and communications. During her tenure there, she supported projects in challenging locations around the world, including Afghanistan, Haiti, Iraq and Jordan. After years of working within the traditional model of bilateral donor-funded development programs, Joy was intrigued by Prosperity Catalyst’s social entrepreneurship approach and focus on women’s key role in the economic development process. She did not hesitate to become a Founding Catalyzer.
