“I decided to become a Catalyzer because I believe whole heartedly in Prosperity Catalyst’s unique business model, which allows women who would not have an opportunity, but yet have the potential and drive, to become successful entrepreneurs and business owners in extremely distressed parts of the world. I get excited when I know my support is getting women from all over the world, who have never had a formal job, connected to the world economy. I get energized by knowing these women will be financial independent, many for the first time and the ripple effect that has on their families and the communities they live in. Mostly, I get inspired to know the Prosperity Catalyst business model provides both a scalable business opportunity and the needed support to empower a women entrepreneur, one who has the commitment, ability and desire to learn, to make much more money than a living wage by becoming a business owner and leader. Linda Strohmeyer is currently the Board Chair of Prosperity Catalyst and lives in Tuxedo, New York with her husband Neal and daughter Ava. Linda is a passionate philanthropist supporting a diverse group of global initiatives focused on Orphan Care, Women and Girls Empowerment, Ending Childhood Hunger in America and Authentic Leadership to name a few. She loves to run, be on the beach at sunrise, anything outdoors and watching her daughter and four grandchildren light up the world with love and laughter.
