In addition to her role as Iraq M&E Specialist and Program Assistant with Prosperity Catalyst, Mayada Alsafi currently serves as a Senior Program Coordinator at World Learning for the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP) funded by the U.S. Department of State/ECA and the U.S. Embassy/Baghdad. Mayada’s professional experience includes her service as a Women Advocacy Coordinator at America’s Development Foundation (ADF) and as a Program Specialist for the U.S. Institute of Peace’s Women Toolkit Program where she worked closely with a coalition of 90 female leaders across Iraq. Mayada is fluent in Arabic and proficient in English. She has a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, from Baghdad University.
