Prapti Sherchan is the Communications Consultant for Prosperity Catalyst. Prapti is very passionate about issues related to gender development and empowerment, and she is glad to be part of a team that’s working to help women empower and provide scalable and sustainable business opportunities for women in distressed parts of the world.

Aside from helping out with this role, Prapti currently works at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington, DC. She recently completed her MBA, with a concentration in sustainable development, from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. She has past experience in developing communication strategies for marketing programs and in using social media to promote nonprofits. In her free time, she is currently pursuing her interest in photography. She also enjoys movies, baking, and loves to travel.
