Sandy Madero was born and raised in Venezuela and worked as an economic consultant in that country after graduating from the University of Alcala, (Madrid, Spain) with a degree in economics. She worked on expansion projects for companies in the manufacturing sector and as the administrator and project manager for a Venezuelan distributor of Canon products.
Sandy moved to the US in 2013 to pursue an MBA in social impact and social entrepreneurship and a Masters in Sustainable International Development at the Heller School at Brandeis University. Her studies are currently focused on social enterprises and production systems that fight rural poverty.
